At Morris Success and Fitness our first and primary goal when it comes to the body is helping you feel the best that you can feel. We only will discuss how you “look” if that is part of your personal success and fitness goals. We are focused on functionality, movement and quality of life. Everyone’s version of success and fitness is different but it all starts with a solid foundation.


Nutrition

Our bodies are made up of trillions of fragile cells and the health of those cells determines our health. We will make this plain and simple for you, if you feed your body toxins, inflammatory foods, too much or in even more cases not enough, you are going to struggle to have the health that you need to achieve your version of success and fitness. The problem that we find with most of our clients is that they just do not know where to get started. There are so many fad diets out there that they have tried and so much information to juggle through. A simple question - Butter or Margarine? What about Fat/Protein/Carbs? Do I really need to count calories?

At Morris Success and Fitness we get away from the term “Diet” that seems to have such a negative connotation with it, and we focus on educating and coaching you towards a personal Way of Eating or “WOE”. This will look different for everyone as everyone has different reactions to different foods. We will work together to find the foods that may be reacting negatively with your body so you can reduce or eliminate them. We will discuss marketing tactics that corporations use to sway your choices at the store. We will discuss ingredient labels and why they are even more important than the nutrition labels and educate you on “fake food” and we will set you up for a lifetime of success and fitness.



Fitness

The health of your body can be very closely linked to what you are putting into your body. We will address that when we discuss Nutrition. The second most important thing is how well you are able to go throughout your daily activities without pain and with ease. At Morris Success and Fitness, when you choose to upgrade to our Fitness packages we will put a workout plan in place for you that will help you achieve your success and fitness goals faster.

Our first focus will be on mobility and flexibility. Does your job require long periods of sitting? We will correct that posture so your back and neck isn’t sore every evening. We will build up your core strength. Do you have kids or grandkids that you want to roll around on the ground with and chase across the yard for hours? We will get you to the point where your movements are balanced so you worry less about pulling something when you’re playing hard.

Once you have a solid foundation of mobility and flexibility, we will begin focusing on strength and endurance. Are you winded walking up the stairs or doing daily tasks? Let us build up your endurance so that five flights of stairs, with a basket of laundry is no big deal. Do you want to be able to carry that 50 pound bag of dog food from the car, inside, and dump it into its bin without feeling like you just climbed Mt. Everest - We can help with that.

Whatever your version of success and fitness is, we will help you get there by first building a solid foundation. The great news is, when you combine nutrition and fitness, not only will you feel better than you have in years, but as a natural result you will move towards your version of what success “looks” like for you!
