Our Story

I’m Anna Morris, the owner of Morris Success and Fitness.  I broke away from my corporate career to start Morris Success and Fitness because I believed other individuals had to be struggling with the same problems I was.  I was in my late 20’s with a baby on the way, a wonderful husband, a house under re-model and a great career in technology sales working for a great company.  I had made it to the place that I had always hoped and dreamed I would be.  The last 15 years of work I had put in had paid off and I had everything I had always wanted – but I felt so empty.

I was stressed out, tired and feeling defeated.  I was struggling with motivation and a desire to perform, stopped going to the gym, constantly felt tired - my relationships suffered and my health was being compromised by an abundance of comfort eating and a lack of exercising. How was I supposed to raise a happy healthy child when I barely knew what happiness felt like anymore?  It was then I realized I needed to make a change.  I focused my whole life on “when I have x” and forgot to live life in the present, so when I finally had everything I always dreamed of - I was lost.

It took a long time to recover from the loss that I felt when I finally realized how much time I had wasted living in the future. I didn’t just have to fix my spirit but I had to fix my relationships, mental health, fitness and nutrition in order to find true happiness and live my best life.

I did a lot of soul searching to determine what is it that “Anna” is all about, and it came down to one thing – People.  My whole life I have always found the most joy and fulfillment by helping others succeed.  I realized that with the experience the corporate world gave me, I now have tools in my toolbox to help people find success where I never could help before.  I knew though from personal experience that happiness doesn’t come from just being successful in your career.  If I wanted to make a lasting impact on people’s lives, and truly help people, I had to take a more holistic approach, like I did with myself.

I have always been a fitness and nutrition enthusiast, not the kind that wins Gold medals for races or tries to be the absolute best weight lifting champion and certainly not the kind that never splurged a little on some ice-cream.

I am a practical enthusiast, the one that knows marathon running isn’t for everyone, cookie-cutter diets don’t work for everyone and real transformation needs to happen in multiple fronts in-order to see lasting change.  I wanted to take my experience and pair it with a holistic approach to healing.

So, I searched for a program that would help me “get the paper” and even a deeper knowledge to go along with the personal experience that I gained over the last 10 years. I settled on the Institute of Transformational Nutrition AND the National Academy of Sports Medicine.  As a Certified Transformational Nutrition Coach, I knew I was going to get the foundation in Nutrition, Psychology and Spirt.  As a Certified Personal Trainer, I would have the in-depth fitness knowledge and with my Bachelors in Sales in Business Marketing, as well as a lifetime growing up as an entrepreneur’s daughter, extended management and sales training and 7 years’ experience in the industry – I knew I could create a program consisting of a holistic approach to success and fitness through focusing on healing the Mind, Body and Spirit.  The 3 Pillars. I have found that if you want true transformation, you need to evaluate all three pillars as each pillar has an impact on the other.  The approach that we take at Morris Success and Fitness doesn’t just help people lose a few pounds or run a bit faster – it helps transform people’s lives, live in the now, and find their true happiness.

When I am not working on changing lives, you can find me hanging out with my family – I have an amazing Husband and two perfect sons.  We enjoy spending time with our family, friends and church family, camping, hiking, soccer, running, yoga, mountain biking, dirt biking, and scuba diving.
